The problem
We met with the Pierian Dx team based in St Louis, USA, in the context of a buyer-side technical due diligence commissioned by an investor. Our solution
We conducted a comprehensive technical due diligence, which included an extensive review of the technology stack. This encompassed a state-of-the-art architectural review, evaluation of the cloud-based software platform, assessment of the highly specialized AI solution, analysis of security and compliance measures, as well as an evaluation of the team.
Given that infrastructure costs were a key aspect of the investment thesis, we allocated significant additional focus to analyzing their variability. Delving deeply into the costing model was a new endeavor for the team, yet it proved to be highly insightful for both the investor and the target company.
Our study covered operations across the USA and India, allowing for a comprehensive review of the team's global operations.
Results
The due diligence report enabled the investor to fully understand their investment, associated risks, and most importantly, recommendations to mitigate them.
The CEO requested our support after the acquisition related to the development of a new artificial intelligence system to support Pierian's exponential growth in activities.
